Don Mallory Shooting – A gunshot that occurred on Wednesday afternoon and left a UPS delivery driver in critical condition. According to the police incident report, officers located the driver, identified as Don Mallory, 46, of North Little Rock, near a residence located at 7511 Royal Oaks Drive after the homeowner called police to report the gunfire that occurred outside her home.
According to the complaint, law enforcement officers put tourniquets to Mallory’s right leg and right arm before transporting him to a local hospital for medical attention. Mark Edwards, a spokesperson for the police department, said Thursday that despite having surgery to treat his wounds, he remained in critical condition.
According to the report, several of the shots that were fired hit the house close to where Mallory was found, and the police found rifle shells on the ground on both sides of the UPS truck at the scene.
After the incident, the homeowner reported to the police that she watched a gray or blue Lexus drive away from the location and travel south on Chicot Road. The police have stated that they believe Mallory knew the person who shot him, but Edwards was unable to comment on how the two individuals knew each other on Thursday.

On Saturday, the Little Rock Police Department informed the public that a fatal shooting had taken place close to the intersection of Roosevelt and Asher. At approximately five o’clock in the evening, officers arrived on the site and discovered Marvell Harris, age 29, suffering from a gunshot wound. at the end, Harris passed away at a medical facility. At this point, no one has been identified as a suspect, and the inquiry is still going on.
In the year 2023, the LRPD has recorded a total of 17 homicides. The count does not take into account an extra fatality that occurred as a result of an officer-involved shooting. The LRPD recorded 29 killings towards the end of the month of April in 2022.
