The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office reports that the gunman ultimately decided to end his own life after the shooting.
According to the explanation provided by the prosecutor’s office, the event took place on Tuesday evening about seven o’clock at the Academy Arms apartments, which are located on the 300 block of Broad Street. As a result of domestic violence, a man has been charged with the murder of his mother in Blackwood, and a murder-suicide has occurred in Lindenwold.
According to the report, Nina D. Sinclair-Green was moving out of the apartment she shared with Anthony J. Williams, 45, and was in the process of packing her stuff. After shooting Sinclair-Green to death inside the apartment, Williams proceeded to fire rounds through an open front door at a car that was parked in the parking area adjacent to the apartment.
According to the prosecutor’s office, the vehicle on which Sinclair-Green was moving had members of her family who were there at the time of her relocation. Although the vehicle was hit by gunfire, the people inside were not hurt in any way.
