Devin Willock Death – A automobile accident that occurred at 2:45 on Sunday morning claimed the lives of offensive lineman Devin Willock and recruiting staffer Chandler LeCroy. Another member of the UGA recruiting staff is still in the intensive care unit. Warren McClendon, an offensive lineman, was riding in the vehicle and received minor injuries as a result.
Police reported that the Accident Call Center Police Department was dispatched to the 900 block of Barnett Shoals Road on January 15, 2023 at about 2:45AM in response to a crash involving a single vehicle. According to the findings of the preliminary investigation, a 2021 Ford Expedition was driving southbound on Barnett Shoals Road in the outside lane when the vehicle exited the roadway, colliding with two power lines and several trees.
Devin Willock, who was 20 years old and a passenger, passed away at the scene of the accident as a result of his injuries. The driver, Chandler LeCroy, who was 24 years old, was taken to a nearby hospital by emergency medical services, but she did not survive her injuries and passed away there. A male passenger aged 21 who sustained minor injuries and a female passenger aged 26 who sustained critical injuries were both on board the vehicle.
