Detrelle Perry Death – At 2:15 in the morning, police were called to the Methodist hospital in response to a walk-in patient who had been shot. According to the two victims, they were driving in the vicinity around North 75th and Maple Streets when they were targeted by shots fired from a dark-colored car of an unknown make and model. The Omaha Police Department is looking into a shooting that took place early on Saturday morning and left two people with minor injuries. Broken glass is suspected of being the source of a minor cut that was sustained by the vehicle’s driver, identified as Charmaine Johnson, age 29. Johnson was driving at the time of the accident.

Detrelle Perry, age 28, was identified as the front-seat passenger who was shot and transferred to Nebraska Medical for treatment of gunshot wounds that were not considered to be life-threatening. According to the authorities, there was no evidence found at the scene. The investigation is still going on at this time. Wednesday night’s fatal shooting at 37th and Pratt Street is being looked into by Omaha police. Synthia Elliott, 15, was identified as the victim by OPD on Thursday afternoon. Officers were called to the location at roughly 8:42 p.m., according to Omaha Police, after it was reported that shots had been fired. The property seemed to have been damaged by gunshots, and police found numerous shell shells on the roadway. Police stated that one person was discovered dead at the location after additional inquiry. The Homicide Unit of Omaha Police is looking into the case. On Thursday, Omaha Police made the announcement that 4 persons had been detained in relation to the alleged murder of 15-year-old Synthia Elliott. Kash Davis, 19, was charged with first-degree murder and felony weapon use. 20-year-old Selassie Spencer is charged with first-degree murder, using a weapon to commit a felony, and having a firearm in their possession against the law. Latrail Washington, 20, is charged with first-degree murder, using a weapon to commit a felony, and having a firearm in their possession against the law. Jarrious Hill, 19, was charged with first-degree murder and using a weapon while committing a felony.
