Motorcycle Accident: Man dies after losing control of motorcycle – Deryk Shaffer, 30, of Big Bear City, was identified as the motorcyclist killed in an accident on Big Bear Boulevard on Sunday evening. The event occurred on March 20, at 6:30 p.m., according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
According to Near Knickerbocker Road, a westbound Toyota sedan allegedly turned left in front of the motorcycle. Shaffer then lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the road. Shaffer was taken to Bear Valley Community Hospital by emergency crews, where he eventually died.
