Derek Venlet Death – Irvine High School Instrumental Directors Derek Venlet has sadly passed away. He died on Saturday 15th April 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer with his beloved family by his side. He was announced dead by his wife in a post that says “My dear husband Derek died on Saturday, 4/15 in the early morning surrounded by his loved ones. He was comfortable and passed in peace”. He possessed an extraordinary gift for music and served as a music instructor. He was an authentic representative of the Good Guys. An excellent Christian husband and parent, a source of motivation for a large number of young people studying music, and a friend.

Derek Venlet attended Westminster High School where he graduated from 1997 and went to study at California State University, Long Beach where he finished in 2005. He was an excellent Christian husband and parent, he was a source of motivation for a large number of young people studying music, and a friend. He was a person who was kind and gifted, and he enhanced the lives of a huge number of people by providing them with lovely and glorious music and by giving them opportunity to be around him.
He was the type of person who could motivate others, instruct others, and take the initiative. He was not only a gifted musician but also a wonderful person in his own right. He was known as one of the most generous individuals who had ever lived. A sizeable number of individuals looked to him on a regular basis as a source of inspiration and joy in their lives.
Who was Derek Venlet?
The perpetual grin that he wore was infectious and put everyone around him in a better mood. He set an excellent example of thoughtfulness and giving. If there were anyone else who was having difficulty, he would be the first to go forward and offer assistance. It was a great privilege to be able to call Derek Venlet a friend since he had one of the kindest and most giving hearts that anyone could ever expect to come across in their lifetime.
Derek Venlet grin was as huge as his heart, and his heart was even greater than his grin. His smile was larger than life. He had an engaging charisma about him that drew others to him, and he was also someone who enjoyed listening to music. He was the kind of person who put others’ needs before his own, and many people will remember him for that.
