Dennis Cormier Death – Retired Lowell Police Department Deputy Superintendent Dennis Cormier of Lowell, MA passed away on Thursday 7th July 2022 at the age of 68. Lowell Police Superior Officers Association shared the news of Dennis Cormier’s death “It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of former Deputy Superintendent Dennis Cormier. The circumstances surrounding the cause of Dennis Cormier are unknown.
Dennis Cormier Education
He was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, and his parents, Ronald and Madeline (Pineault) Cormier were his parents. In the year 1972, Dennis graduated from Central Catholic High School, which is located in Lawrence, Massachusetts. He obtained his high school graduation there. After completing his high school education, he continued his education at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree.
In his later years, Dennis pursued his master’s degree at Anna Maria College and his legal education at Suffolk Law School. He graduated from both institutions with degrees in law. In 2009, he retired after taking over as the Deputy Superintendent of the Lowell Police Department and beginning his new job there.
In addition to that, he spent a considerable portion of his life working as a legal practitioner in the city of Lowell. Dennis enjoyed a broad variety of activities, including downhill skiing, dogs, reading, and traveling; but, the time he got to spend with his family and friends was the thing that he looked forward to the most. At one point in time, he was recognized by the Lowell Firefighters Club as being a member of the organization.
According Legacy, he is survived by his two sons and their wives; James and Cornelia Cormier of Prague, Czech Republic, Joshua and Leslie Cormier of Boston, MA, his grandson Jackson Cormier, his sister Barbara Geoffroy of Lowell, MA, his mother-in-law Joan Dowling of Lowell, MA, his three sisters-in-laws; Barbara Cormier of Dracut, MA, Deborah Dowling of Lowell, MA, Cheryl Calavritinos and her husband Arthur of Lowell, MA, and his several nieces and nephews.
