Death; Three people Passed Away and three others injured in Pasadena car accident involving a Tesla: Three people in Pasadena lost their lives and three more were hospitalized after a Tesla car collided with a building’s front early on Saturday. At about 2:30 in the morning, there was a collision in Sierra Madre between Foothill Boulevard and Vista Street. The Pasadena Police Department claims that a Tesla carrying six people ran a red light at a fast speed due to the driver losing control of the vehicle.
Three of the occupants, whose ages varied from 17 to 22, died and the other two were injured when the vehicle struck a curb before to driving into the building. Several of the people engaged were students at Maranatha High School, according to reports from school administration.
Maranatha High School expressed their condolences and asked for prayers for the affected parties. “We are deeply grieving this immense loss… We ask everyone to join us in praying for all those who are suffering as a result of this tragedy as we seek comfort and strength from our faith in Jesus Christ during this difficult time. Lieutenant Anthony Russo of the Pasadena Police Department presented information regarding the collision. He drew attention to the widespread devastation that has caused power outages throughout the area.
Utility workers had to bring the area’s energy back online while the police reviewed video from the Tesla’s rear-facing cameras to see whether the driver had been intoxicated. The victims’ names have not been released to the public until their families have been informed.
