Death; Taylor Dockins Obituary, Nashville, Tennessee, Member Of Softball Community Has Passed Away From Cancer: We convey the sad news of Taylor Dockins’ demise. She was a cherished softball player in Nashville, TN. An enduring legacy of bravery and drive was left behind by Taylor, a true warrior who lost her battle with cancer today. Refusing to allow her illness define her, she has raised awareness of the realities of cancer within the sport since receiving her diagnosis in 2017.
Her steadfast spirit, on and off the field, was a defining characteristic of Taylor’s journey. She was a tremendous athlete with incredible tenacity and resilience, earning her a spot on the 2017 PGF All American team. She was an inspiration to everyone who knew her because she played the sport she loved even though she was sick. Her bravery and determination turned into a ray of optimism that shone both inside and outside of the softball community. The softball families at Chino Hills High School, Empire Fastpitch, and the whole softball community send their sincere sympathies to the Dockins family.
