Death: Saauntel L. Odon, 34, Killed In A Car Accident In Wayne County  – The driver who died in a crash on U.S. Highway 84 in Wayne County on Monday evening has been identified by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

According to wdam.com, MHP, Saauntel L. Odon, 34, of Waynesboro, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt east on U.S. 84. The Chevrolet collided with Matthew K. Brewer, 21, of Richton, who was driving an eastbound 2021 Dodge Ram.

Odon died as a result of his injuries and was pronounced dead at the site. The crash is still being investigated by MHP.
