Death Robin Feldt; Lincoln woman Has Passed Away after motorcycle Accident near Waverly: At 4:41 p.m. on Friday, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fatal two-vehicle accident that occurred close to Waverly at the intersection of Highway 6 and the eastbound exit ramp for Interstate 80.
According to the Lincoln State Police, the orange Harley Davidson motorcycle that was seen leaving the eastbound exit off-ramp of Interstate 80 at Mile Marker 409 belongs to Robin Feldt, a resident of Lincoln who is 49 years old during that time. After coming to a stop at the stop sign, Feldt made a left turn at the intersection and continued on Highway 6 in the westbound direction.
A collision occurred between Feldt, who had crossed the intersection, and Edward Runge, who was driving a black Chevrolet Avalanche pickup truck. Runge was 74 years old. In the direction of the east, Runge was driving the automobile. LSO reported that it took first responders less than two minutes to reach at the spot where the incident occurred. A death certificate was issued for Robin Feldt at the scene. Her motorcycle was the only one she owned. Instantaneous attention was provided to Runge, and he was removed from his vehicle by himself.
When the incident occurred, Runge was wearing his seat belt and the airbags were deployed. He was also wearing his seat belt. No charges were filed as a result of the collision, as stated by the LSO.
During the course of the inquiry, the Waverly Rural Fire Department and the Nebraska State Patrol offered assistance to the Lincoln Sheriff’s Office. All of the family members have been informed of the situation.
