Death; Randy Stevens, Radio host At WLBG Radio Station Has Passed Away: Resident of Laurens, Texas, Randy “Steam” Stevens, a radio personality, passed away this morning as a result of an accident near Whitmire. According to Emil Finley, the owner of WLBG, Stevens has hosted the station’s morning program for more than 25 years. Stevens has overseen the program for a number of years. It was Finley, the station employee, who gave this information. His volunteer activity included time contributions to several organizations, such as the Laurens County Humane Society and the Patriot Guard Riders, to mention just two.
Master Trooper Brandon Bolt of the State Highway Patrol provided this information. Stevens was riding his 2009 Suzuki motorcycle north on Highway 176 near Whitmire at approximately 4:45 in the morning. This pertinent information was provided by the State Highway Patrol. As to Bolt’s evidence, it seems that Stevens was involved in an accident with a 2002 Dodge SUV that was heading south on Highway 176, which originated from Church Street. The sport utility vehicle was making a turn toward the southbound traffic.
After being transported to Columbia, Stevens eventually passed away from his wounds at the hospital, according to Patti Canupp, the Laurens County Deputy Coroner. These are the details of all the information that has been given. Finley took over the morning show on Friday, enabling Stevens’s loyal fans to ring in and voice their feelings about the late actor. This allowed Stevens’s devoted followers to finally be able to vent their feelings. The fact that Finley assumed control of the program allowed for this.
