John Lintmeijer Cause Of Death, Obituary Not Yet available – John Lintmeijer died according to a Facebook post created on May 16, 2022. R-Ageing Rabbits announced the passing of John who was a Gymea Gorillas junior, playing over 200 games for the club. The cause of death has not been published online.
R-Ageing Rabbits wrote on Facebook; “The South Sydney Rabbitohs are mourning the passing of former first-grade player, John Lintmeijer, who passed away yesterday at the age of 50. John Joseph Lintmeijer was a Gymea Gorillas junior, playing over 200 games for the club. In 2012 the club celebrated its 50th anniversary and chose its best-ever side. Mr. Lintmeijer was selected on the wing, along with two other former Souths players in Jesse Caine (center) and Greg Nixon (five-eighth). Bill Anderson who coached Souths from 1980 to 1982 was selected as their best coach.”
