Norbert Galligan Rye Death, Obituary Unavailable – Norbert Galligan is said to have died this week in a tragic accident in New York, where he had lived for many years.
Norbert was a frequent visitor to the club during his frequent trips home, the most recent of which was just over a fortnight ago, his first journey home in a long time due to travel restrictions.
According to SuttoniansRFC, “It is with great sadness that we bring news of the untimely death of Norbert (Nobby) Galligan. Norbert died following a tragic accident last week in New York which had been his home for many years.
Norbert was a regular visitor to the club on his frequent visits home, most recently just a fortnight ago, his first trip home in some time due to travel restrictions.
To his wife Clíona and sons Cian and Conor we extend our deepest sympathies. The Galligan family is a huge part of the Suttonians family and we extend those sympathies to his siblings Marie, Fintan, Emer, Declan and Vivian, their partners Ciarán, Lorna, Conor, Sarah and Louise and their families.
