Dr. Jackson’s work on Mori and Indigenous rights has inspired many people both at home and abroad, and he has used his expertise and experience to help Mori and Pkeh comprehend the effects of colonization in Aotearoa. His achievements as an advocate, facilitator, and educator for Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Human Rights, and social justice were recognized by the National Iwi Chairs Forum in 2021.
