Obituary ATTLEBORO- M.M. “Anita” (Filipe) Wadick a resident of Attleboro, MA passed away peacefully on March 14, 2022. Born in Central Falls, RI she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Marguerite LaRosee) Filipe and the devoted wife of 65 years to James B Wadick. She is survived by her children Cynthia (Wayne) Pule of Corona, CA; Maureen (Frank) Hart of Vancouver, WA; Kathryn (Paul) Flynn of Albion, ME; Margaret Lague of Rumford, RI; Elizabeth (Michael) Lannigan of Holden, MA and predeceased by her son James D. Wadick. She was loved by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Lucille Froment and Gerard Filipe.

Anita graduated from Attleboro High School as a salutatorian in 1948. She was employed by various banking institutions in the Attleboro area and as a seamstress. She was a volunteer at The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette for over 20 years. In addition to her family and home, Anita enjoyed traveling and loved surfing the ocean waves.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, March 31st at 10 am at St Mary’s Catholic Church, One Power Rd, Norton, MA. Burial will be private.
