Lydia Liebman wrote on Facebook; “Devastated and heartbroken to confirm, on behalf of Jana Herzen and Motema Music, that Charnett Moffett passed away on Monday evening. Charnett was not only a master musician, but he was also an incredibly kind and warm-hearted person. Representing his recent work, including ‘New Love’ was an honor. I will miss him so very much.”
