Mary Shea, a 38-year-old woman, has been confirmed as the victim. The incident happened on Friday night close to Route 211. Shea was originally from Connecticut, and according to the authorities, she was murdered on Route 17 by an SUV. The SUV’s driver immediately stopped and attempted to provide Shea first assistance before calling 911.
They did everything they could to save Shea’s life, but she was declared dead at the scene. The accident is still being investigated at this time. Public reports of an arrest have not been released.
