Death; Lauren Martin Normal IL, Obituary, Clinton High School Alumna Has Passed Away From A Car Accident in Tazewell County : Lauren Martin, a Normal, Illinois native and graduate of Clinton High School, regrettably passed away. Following a fatal accident in Tazewell County on Friday, May 31, 2024, she passed away at the age of 32. Many people are shocked and in disbelief by the news of her passing. Born in Bloomington, IL on June 29, 1991, she was the daughter of Randy and Nancy (Kincaid) Martin respectively.
Lauren’s path through schooling and volunteer work is a wonderful example of a life filled with enthusiasm and meaning. She made a lasting impression on everyone in her path, from her early years at Clinton High School to her work as a foster parent and special needs advocate. She attended a number of institutions along her scholastic journey, all of which aided in her personal development. She began her education at Heartland Community College, where she most likely set the foundation for her subsequent pursuits. Lauren continued her education, attending Southern New Hampshire University and Illinois Wesleyan University, proving her dedication to study and personal development.
Lauren joined Kappa Kappa Gamma while attending Illinois Wesleyan University, adopting the sorority’s values of sisterhood and service. Her passion to interact with people and have a positive influence on her community is evident in her activities. Lauren’s commitment to service extended beyond her time in academics to a variety of professions and organizations. She preserved her nation’s history and treasured her lineage as a member of the Pierre Menard Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Wilhelmina Martin had a lovely mother in Lauren. Her brother Christopher and his wife Daphney Martin and their son Archer Mickelson of St. Johns, Florida, her daughter from Normal, Illinois, her parents Randy and Nancy Martin of Clinton, Illinois, and a host of aunts, uncles, countless cousins, and friends that will sincerely miss her survive her. Her grandparents, J. Kennedy, Jr. and Margaret (Graham) Kincaid, as well as Coy and Alice Jean (Thompson) Martin, preceded Lauren in death.
