Death – Ken Haines Has Died, Cause Of Death
Ken Haines died according to a Facebook post created on April 11, 2022. Linda Law announced the passing of Haines who was a friend and mentor with whom I had the privilege to learn so much about holography. The cause of death has not been published online.
Linda Law wrote on Facebook; “First and foremost he was my friend and mentor with whom I had the privilege to learn so much about holography. He was there with Emmett Leith and Juris Upatnieks in Michigan when they made their amazing first holograms, he went on to develop so many holographic processes, at his first company, Eidetic Images, at American Banknote, at his second company, Simian Technologies. The 3 holographic covers of National Geographic (made at American Banknote) were an astonishing technical breakthrough that exposed millions of people to Holography for the first time.”
