Death; John Mills 69 Louisville KY, Vendor At PGA Has Passed Away After Being Hit By A Shuttle Bus Outside Valhalla Golf Club:
It was determined that the guy killed by a shuttle bus outside of Valhalla was an employee of PGA vendor. The authorities claim that Crestwood resident John Mills, 69, was transacting business with a PGA dealer. He was struck before dawn on Friday morning while crossing Shelbyville Road in a bus lane, according to the police. It was five o’clock when the tragedy happened.
Just before two o’clock in the afternoon, Mayor Craig Greenberg released a statement announcing his passing. “A terrible accident occurred in our city this morning, taking the life of John Mills, a Louisville local who will be deeply missed by both his family and our community. Our attention is mostly directed toward the family that has lost a loved one. I have been in contact with Mr. Mills’ family in order to express our city’s condolences.
“We were startled to hear this morning that a shuttle bus outside of Valhalla Golf Club tragically struck and killed a worker with one of our vendors. Our reaction upon learning of this was devastating. This news has devastated all of us who are associated with the PGA Championship. We would like to offer their family and loved ones our sincere condolences. “This is a preliminary statement regarding the facts and circumstances of what occurred near Valhalla Golf Club early this morning,” the statement continues.

At around 5:07 this morning, a shuttle bus hit and killed a pedestrian in front of Gate 2 at Valhalla Golf Club. The catastrophe happened in front of Gate 2. The family of the person who died as a result of the collision has our sincere condolences, says the Los Minas Police Department. All lanes of traffic in the vicinity were blocked off while the death was being investigated. Additionally, officers from the L.M. Police Department were directing traffic around the scene.
When a driver tried to enter a prohibited area when the police was directing traffic, he discovered them. After this exchange, the motorist was eventually placed under arrest.
