Jennifer Coffey wrote; “The community of Old Lyme has suffered quite a loss this week. John Cordock suddenly passed away on Tuesday and he leaves behind a very loving wife Reyly and a wonderful son, Sean, and a family who adored him. The community did too. To say that John had a big heart and was a generous man is an understatement. Two weeks ago the Lyme Old Lyme SafeGrad had a steak dinner fundraiser and John was a force of nature. He planned and prepared and was in his element. So much work went into that event and it was such a success because of his love for his son and his talent for cooking. The boys and I loved him too. He was kind to us and kind to everyone he met. Our little family is heartbroken over this loss. And we want to help.”
