Death: Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Black Women (BWIS) Ndoni Mcunu Passed Away – Ndoni Mcunu died according to a Facebook post created on February 16, 2022. Opp-Gen Research and Conservation announced the passing of Ndoni who was a founder & Chief Executive Officer of Black Women in Science (BWIS). The cause of death has not been published online.
Opp-Gen Research and Conservation wrote on Facebook; “Ndoni is the founder & Chief Executive Officer of Black Women in Science (BWIS), a registered non-profit organization, that aims to deliver capacity development interventions that target young black women scientists and researchers. She was selected as the top 200 Mail and Guardian Young South Africans, in the education sector in 2016. She is a Mandela Washington Fellow 2017, selected for her contribution to Civic Leadership development in Africa for her work in BWIS.”
