Death: The victim of a hit-and-run in Mandan has been identified – Erwin Leon Geigle, 77, was killed in a hit-and-run incident on Monday, according to Mandan Police. Police said a 39-year-old male was involved in a fatal hit-and-run in Mandan as well as other police chases that resulted in a rollover accident.
according to inforum.com, Wade Bison, who was wanted in connection with the hit-and-run death of a 77-year-old man in Mandan, allegedly fled from police out of Bismarck before being apprehended at Dan’s Supermarket on Turnpike and fleeing again, according to Bismarck police.
He fled up State Street in a stolen white Ford F250 truck with a blazer attached to it and a tow line before colliding with a UPS delivery vehicle and crashing into a fence at the Motel 6 off of State Street and I-94 at 9:20 this am, according to police.
Bison was apprehended and sent to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The UPS truck driver, according to police, did not sustain any life-threatening injuries.
