The people who love Devon the most are his loyal fiancée Laura Murphy, his two really precious dogs, Leni and Chewy, their mother Sarah (Randy Hodder), father David (Jeff Butt), grandmothers Granny and Lulu, and his sister Kathleen (Jenna Mandville), who is also his biggest supporter.
He was an obedient and dedicated member of many families, and Laura’s family extended a hearty welcome to him, especially her father George (Lana Duggan), sister Tamara, brother Josh, and mother Sammy. From his many acquaintances to his four MacDonald brothers to his cherished relatives, Devo had earned the title of Brother. He’s loved to bits by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and the entire family—O’Grady, Murphy, Walsh, Capps, Miller, MacDonald, and Noseworthy.
He had the distinction of being referred to as “Uncle Deevs” by an eccentric bunch of nieces and nephews, who will never forget his funny and eccentric antics. Devon has a lasting and significant legacy. Whether it’s a joke, a compliment, or a thought-provoking statement, his greatest reputation is for making you smile the instant he steps into a room. His volunteer effort throughout his life is proof of his considerate nature, boundless curiosity about everyone, and generosity of heart.
Everyone’s greatest ally and the man behind the buzz, Devo was the person to turn to for any task or adventure. He is the perfect example of a sportsman; he is well-known for being the most enthusiastic player, from his days as a student-athlete on many teams to his passionate career as a coach at St. John’s and St. Catharines. He is well-known in the basketball and tennis communities and was a dedicated and well-behaved runner. Though still in his early years of practice, Devon was quickly making a name for himself as a trustworthy lawyer and a major presence at his current firm, Poole Althouse, where he would always brighten everyone’s day when he walked in.
