David Hodge Cause Of Death, Obituary Unavailable Yet – On Monday, May 2, 2022, at approximately 7:19 a.m. Salem Police, Fire, and ambulance responded to the Salem Heights Apartments, 12 Pope Street, in response to a 9-1-1 call requesting medical aid for a man found unresponsive at the base of construction scaffolding located at that address.
The individual had injuries consistent with a fall from a great height and he was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation by detectives assigned to the Salem Police Criminal Investigation Division (CID), the Massachusetts State Police, and investigators with the State Medical Examiner’s Office subsequently identified the victim as 22-year-old Darling Thomas Nunez-Veras, a resident of 12 Pope Street.
The injuries sustained by Mr. Nunez-Veras are consistent with a fall and no foul play is suspected. The incident remains under investigation.
