Death: Clifford Pusey Dies After A Long Battle With Cancer – Clifford Pusey died according to a Facebook post created on April 12, 2022. Steel Pulse announced the passing of Pusey who was the guitar player we’ve had, Moonie was the most visually dynamic.
Steel Pulsewrote on Facebook; “To our devoted fans out there, with deep regards for this very sad news: Clifford Pusey II, aka “Looney Moonie,” has passed away. He lost his long battle with cancer. Of all the guitar players we’ve had, Moonie was the most visually dynamic. He gave us that rocky edge that captivated our white audience who were often in a trance listening to the wailing sound squeezed from the tension he placed on the whammy bar. He made us a cut above the rest in regards to our sound. Moonie was our lead guitarist from 1992 till the early 2000s.”
