Death: CBBC star Chelsie Whibley dies aged 29 after battling cystic fibrosis

Chelsie Whibley, a CBBC celebrity, died at the age of 29 following a long battle with cystic fibrosis. The TV star, best known for Dani’s House and Sadie J, died after battling a hereditary disease that produces a build-up of sticky mucus in the lungs and digestive system, causing respiratory problems.

According to ok.co.uk, The Mirror, actress Chelsie, from Denmead, Hampshire, was transported to Southampton General Hospital on Saturday 2 April and died at 2.45 pm.

Glyn, 33, who married Chelsie in August 2014, described her as a “beautiful inspiration wife” and said, “I’m afraid this is the hardest thing I have ever had to write.”

“It was quite rapid, and she was not in any pain,” he continued. I know you’ll all want to convey your condolences, but we ask that you keep them in the comments section during this difficult time.
