Death: On Highway 6, a motorcyclist died after colliding with two cars in opposite lanes – According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a motorcycle collision on Highway 6 in Houston on Thursday resulted in one individual being killed and all north and southbound lanes being closed. The collision occurred on Alief Codine around 10 a.m. on Thursday.
According to abc13.com, Nguyen lost control of his motorcycle and collided with the center median, which separates the north and southbound lanes of traffic. He went on and joined the northbound lane, where he collided with the front end of a Dodge Charger.
Nguyen was thrown from the motorcycle, which came to a halt in the northbound traffic lanes’ left lane. Around 10:20 a.m., Community EMS pronounced him deceased on the site.
Deputies had to close down both north and southbound lanes for hours in order to investigate. Highway 6 has since reopened all lanes.
