Death: Amanda Mcamis, Two Missouri Ladies Killed In A Car Accident in Lyon County

Amanda Mcamis Death – Obituary, Two Missouri ladies were murdered in a car accident in Lyon County, Kentucky – A semi tractor-trailer and an automobile collided on Interstate 24 in Lyon County, Kentucky, killing two Missouri women. On Tuesday, March 22, just before 6 p.m., a crash occurred near the 49-mile sign, a few miles south of the Eddyville exit.

According to kfvs12.com, Amanda McAmis, 35, of Wentzville, Mo., was driving eastbound on I-24 when her automobile crossed the median and collided with a semi, according to Kentucky State Police (KSP). McAmis was flung from the vehicle and died instantly.

Sondra McAmis, 79, also of Wentzville, was one of her passengers who died in the collision. A juvenile passenger was transported to a local hospital for treatment by emergency staff.

Later, the adolescent was transported to a hospital outside of the state. The semi’s driver, 66-year-old David Royer of Galena, Mo., was unharmed. Heavy rain, according to KSP investigators, was a major factor in the disaster. Obituary is unavailable
