Death; A Man And A Woman In their Early 30’s Has Passed Away From A Car Accident in southern Alberta highway: There were two people who were killed and another person who sustained significant injuries as a result of a collision that took place on Sunday in the southern region of Alberta. The collision that involved three vehicles took occurred on Highway 519 close to Range Road 255, which is situated to the north of Fort Macleod. The collision took place at approximately 10:30 p.m.
As reported by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), the incident included three vehicles: a Honda Civic going in the eastbound direction, a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck travelling in the eastbound direction while carrying a U-Haul trailer, and a Dodge Ram 1500 travelling in the westbound direction. It was discovered by the rescue responders that both of the people who were inside the Honda Civic had passed away when they got at the scene.
According to the Calgary Metropolitan Police, both of the victims, a man who was driving and a woman who was riding as a passenger, were both residents of Lethbridge. The guy was driving, and the lady was riding as a passenger inside the vehicle. A further man, the driver of the pickup truck that was driving in the westbound direction, was sent to a hospital in Calgary with major injuries.
There were no injuries sustained by either the driver or the passenger of the pickup truck that was going in the eastward direction. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have said that they are currently conducting an investigation into the cause of the incident; however, they have not disclosed whether or not they believe that alcohol or speed played a role in the tragedy.
