Death; 77-year-old Delhaven man Has Passed Away From A Fatal Car Accident in Wolfville Ridge: The Kings District Royal Canadian Mounted Police are currently looking into a crash at Wolfville Ridge that claimed the life of a witness. The Kings District RCMP, fire departments, and emergency medical services hurried to the scene following a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 101 near Exit 11. When the incident occurred today, it was at 10:25 a.m. When a tractor trailer and a GMC Sierra collided, the two vehicles were traveling in opposing directions, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers.
A Delhaven man who was the only occupant of the GMC at the time of the collision was found to have injuries that were considered potentially fatal. Following his transfer to the hospital by Emergency Health Services (EHS), it was discovered that he had passed dead. The driver of the tractor trailer, a 62-year-old Canaan, Kings County resident, was the only person inside, but he was unharmed. The only person inside the trailer was him.
Reconstructionists, who specialize in crash analysis, were on site at the accident scene while the investigation moved further. Following a couple of hours of closure, traffic on Highway 101 has since resumed as usual.
