On Tuesday 4th April 2023, The Allen-Stevenson School shared the news of his passing on Facebook saying “This past weekend Allen-Stevenson lost a much-beloved teacher, colleague, and friend”. Because to him, the thoughts of future bards have been inspired, history has been taught to many in inventive and unforgettable ways, and developing athletes have been coached, and many are extremely lucky for all of these things. David Kersey exemplified both teaching and learning throughout his time at Allen-Stevenson.
