David James Marquez Death – David James Marquez died after incident that happened in Las Vegas. David, a man in his 21st year from Las Vegas passed away a week ago after being involved in what the police are calling a “incident” at an apartment building in the Historic Railroad District of the city. On Monday, Chief of Police Antonio Salazar confirmed to the Optic that an inquiry is being conducted into the circumstances surrounding David James Marquez’s passing.
Salazar stated that the Las Vegas Police Department is waiting for the results of an autopsy that is now being conducted by the Office of the Medical Investigator in Albuquerque. Nevertheless, Salazar did not disclose any details regarding the inquiry. There have been rumors that have been circulating about the circumstances surrounding Marquez’s death, with some suggesting that he was attacked or “jumped” by a group of people.
However, Salazar stated that investigators do not have any evidence to support those rumors, and that the department did not receive any 911 calls reporting anything of that nature. Salazar also stated that investigators do not believe that Marquez’s death was suspicious. Because of these reports, the department decided to send out a letter to the general public on Wednesday. The letter was also posted on the department’s official Facebook page.

According to Marquez’s obituary, a rosary service will be held on Friday evening at 7:30 p.m., and a funeral Mass will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. Both services will take place at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas. Mount Calvary Cemetery is going to be the location of his burial service.
