David Hill Death – David Hill has sadly passed away after a long battle with cancer. The former member, lead vocalist was confirmed dead on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. David died leaving a massive shockwave among several people who knew him during the course of his life, including his friends, loved ones and family of his wife and two children who will forever miss him and cherish his memories.
We are saddened to report the passing of one of our own alumni. Former member, lead vocalist David Hill, graduated to Heaven after a courageous battle with cancer. Danny Riley says, “David was a fine lead singer. Many will remember he was the original voice on Gold City’s classic, ‘I’m Not Giving Up.’ In addition to his singing, he was a great preacher, too. David Hill died after years of suffering and fighting cancer. The location where he passed away is yet to be revealed. The public has been urged to keep his family in their prayers as they navigate through this sad and difficult time of grief. “Please pray for his wife and two children for the comfort they need in the coming days and months. Who was David Hill?
David Hill was a Co-founder at Kingdom River. He studied Biblical Studies at North Carolina College of Theology. He attended Ferndale Baptist High School where he completed his secondary education. He was a native of Charleston, South Carolina. He was a resident of Givhans, South Carolina where he lived until the time of his death. David was happily married to his lovely wife, Amanda Hill.

David’s Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 8th at 11:00 am at North Palm Church located in North Charleston, SC.
