David Burkey Death – Midland City/County Police/EMS Scanner PAGE shared on their official social media page that David Burkey has passed away tragically. David Burkey was found dead by authorities on Tuesday, 28th of February 2023. David Burkey, a resident of Loomis, was apparently the last person to be seen on foot on Thursday evening, February 23, 2023 about eight o’clock. Reports state that it is possible that he was injured in a traffic collision between a car and another pedestrian.
The car accident involving a car and another pedestrian was allegedly because Dale Road and Roehrs Road are both intersecting at the point of the crash. In a number of postings that have been made on Facebook to call attention to the case of the missing guy, other people have hypothesized that the missing man may have been picked up off of M-18. On Tuesday evening, the police shared on Facebook that they have found David Burkey but he has died.

It is with a broken heart that I let you know that David Burkey was found tonight. 💔 Thank you to everyone that helped us. It is a true testimony to the man he was. He will be missed more than we can ever convey. We will update with service information when we have details. Please give us some time to grieve with his Mom, brother, and son.
