David Brandt Death – Past president of the Ohio No-till Council, David Brandt has sadly passed away. The dearly beloved YouTuber was confirmed dead on Sunday, May 21, 2023 after sustaining severe injuries from a bad accident. He died leaving many devastated and heartbroken. Following the incident, he was taken to the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.
According to reports, he was carried out of his truck, left with a broken arm and wrist. A few reports claim that he also had a broke ankle, 9 broken ribs, face and body messed up from scraping on pavement. Spinal injuries, but he can move fingers on both hands and toes on one foot. (Not sure about the other one) He was considered. He was considered dead.
Who was David Brandt?
Davis was known as “Greatest of All Time“ he was referred to as the the true Godfather of Soil Regen. He was regarded as an inspiration to many who knew him during the course of his well lived life. He was a farmer, a trail blazer, a teacher, a mentor, a philosopher, an inspiration. “father to Regen Ag. and a meme, of course. David Brandt changed the world by simply farming his little piece of land in Ohio and telling all who were open to hear about it.” – Lyudochka Odesa
We lost a legend in no-till and regenerative agriculture last night. Dave Brandt was a pioneer in no till farming before no till was even a word. I had the opportunity to visit his farm in April of 2022, hear him speak at several conferences and have a nice conversation on our podcast.

David Brandt died in a tragic motor accident on Thursday, May 18, 2023. “He was ejected from his truck. One broken arm and wrist. Maybe broken ankle. 9 broken ribs.
