Death: Daniel Shane,39, Killed In A Motorcycle Accident on Woodmen Road – The identification of a motorcyclist murdered near the junction of Woodmen Road and Havenwood Drive has been disclosed by the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
A traffic incident involving a motorbike and a truck was reported to CSPD shortly after 11:50 a.m. on April 8th. Officers from the Stetson Hills Division arrived and discovered that the motorcycle’s driver had been dead.
According to fox21news.com, The biker was identified as 35-year-old Daniel Shane of Colorado Springs by the El Paso County Coroner’s Office on Monday, and his identity was revealed when his family was notified.
The motorbike was heading southbound on Havenwood Drive when it attempted to make a right-hand turn onto westbound Woodmen Road, according to the investigation.
The motorbike was unable to navigate the corner and came to a halt on the side of the road. A pickup truck traveling westbound on Woodmen Road then struck the motorcycle. This is Colorado Springs’ eighth traffic-related fatality in 2022. There had been nine fatal road accidents at this time last year.
