According to the authorities, a house fire that occurred early on Sunday morning, June 18, 2023, in Harnett County claimed the lives of five individuals, including a father and his two children. Off of Camp Ground Lane in the Broadway neighborhood, the house fire was reported at approximately 8:00 in the morning. Both the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office and the Harnett County Fire Marshal’s Office are currently investigating the incident.
At approximately 3:15 in the afternoon, the authorities disclosed the names of the members of the Breymeyer family who had died in the blaze.
