Daniel Adrian Barajas Death – In January 2022, Daniel Adrian Barajas was on the road travelling from Kentucky to Dallas, Texas, to meet his new niece and nephew. Both of his sisters had recently given birth, and he was excited to meet them. Barajas, a 38-year-old specialty welder, did not make it further than Saline County, Arkansas. According to his family, local law officers “abandoned” him on Interstate 30 after detaining, searching, and then releasing him after questioning him.
Man found dead in Arkansas
On January 15, 2022, in the early morning hours, Daniel Barajas was struck and killed by two cars and an 18-wheeler south of Little Rock. The circumstances behind Daniel’s death remain a mystery. According to reports, Barajas was walking on or near the interstate when the incident took place. His vehicle was apparently still sitting on a nearby on-ramp, which is where two sheriff’s deputies left Barajas after examining his things with a dog trained to detect the presence of illegal substances.
According to Michael Laux, a civil rights attorney for the Barajas family, the search for narcotics was fruitless, and important evidence from the local coroner’s report, along with Barajas’s car keys, wallet, and cash box, have all vanished. Laux is representing the Barajas family.
Initial reports from the police and the local media refer to Barajas as a “pedestrian” and imply that he was involved in a terrible accident or perhaps committed suicide; however, his family insists that he was happy and well, and they blame the police for his death. After learning that law police incorrectly suspected Barajas of being a drug trafficker even after his death, the family of Barajas and their attorney feel that he was the victim of racial profiling and “foul play” by local authorities in Saline County.
This suspicion stems from the discovery that law enforcement continued to accuse Barajas of being a drug trafficker even after he had passed away.
