On Thursday night, a man was discovered shot to death in Snohomish after rounds had been fired at him from a passing automobile. A drive-by gunshot occurred along South Machias Road at around 7:45 p.m., and deputies from Snohomish County were dispatched to the scene. When the deputies arrived, they discovered a guy in his 30s who had been found dead in the middle of the road. The victim resided in the neighborhood.
The individual was recognized as a prison officer at the Monroe Correctional Complex by a spokesman of the Washington State Department of Corrections. He had been employed there for close to a year and a half at that point. The man’s name has not been made public by the investigators.
