Dan Hawthorne Death – 52-year-old Daniel “Dan” Ryland Hawthorne, Ph.D., the Director of I/O Psychology at PAIRIN passed away unexpectedly on June 21st, 2022. Dan has a couple of “unofficial” job descriptions given by executives he’s worked with that describe him: “Organizational Smokejumper” and “Gibberish Translator.” He was a resident of Denver, Colorado.
The circumstances surrounding the cause of Dan Hawthorne’s death has not been made known to the public at the time of this publication. Dan Hawthorne was born on August 27, 1969. He has contributed to the success of both fledgling consulting firms and Fortune 500 companies through his ability to think on his feet, come up with novel solutions to challenging problems, and explain the arcane language of data science and research methodology to non-specialists.
His goal, when working with others, whether as a consultant or collaborator, is to earn their trust and respect so that they, in turn, can benefit from his wide range of experiences. Dan was an exceptionally intelligent and empathetic human being.
Throughout his entire cancer battle, he was doing podcasts and answering emails to help others battling pancreatic cancer. He was a selfless leader who encouraged his colleagues to reach their full potential. There will be a lasting legacy of Dan’s contributions to PAIRIN, and we will miss him dearly. “My deepest condolences to his family — both at home and at Pairin.”
