Dalton Durant affectionately known to many as “Doogie” was announced dead last night. He died this past week. ‘Last night we lost a wonderful person and this world will never be the same. Dalton Durant was not just my stepson whom I’ve known for more than 15 years; he was a true friend.”

Dalton loved to skateboard and take pictures, and he started his own business on his own. Even when he was very young, he liked to take pictures of the city and skate at different spots around town. Dalton just got a great teaching job at TCISD. He was so happy to finally be doing what he loved for a living. Dalton has four brothers, and it was very important to him that his two younger ones knew he loved them. He always took them to the movies or had them hang out and play games at his place.
Dalton and his brother Logan were always together, even when they were very young. He was always thinking about other people and going out of his way to make sure the next person had what they needed. Dalton got along well with a lot of people and didn’t have a single bad bone in his body.
