Culpeper Shooting Investigations – Officers with the Culpeper Police Department are on the scene of a barricade situation after a husband shot and killed his wife Tuesday evening. According to reports, A man fatally shot his wife during a domestic dispute before fleeing inside their apartment and self barricades. Law enforcement agencies responded to the scene following a shots fired reports. A heavy police presence is currently at the Friendship Heights Apartments following the ongoing incident.
Police arriving at the home say the suspect is actively self-barricaded inside their home after shooting and killing his wife during a domestic altercation. The man whose identity was not immediately released was said to have fired at his wife multiple times during the incident. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.
