Who was Craig Starr?
Craig Starr was a resident of Ocala, Florida, and he also attended the University of Michigan, according to his social media profile. Craig Starr was a remarkable individual, known for being both a loving son and a beloved equestrian. His devotion to his mother Cynthia L Starr who lives in Pontiac, Michigan, and is the owner of Equistarr Chaps was evident in the way he cares for her and puts her needs above his own. As a son, Craig goes above and beyond to ensure her happiness and well-being, cherishing every moment they spend together.
However, Craig’s love and passion for horses was equally captivating. An accomplished equestrian, he has formed a deep bond with these majestic animals over the years. His skill and dedication in horsemanship have earned him recognition and admiration within the equestrian community. Craig can often be found at the stables, spending quality time with his equine companions. Craig was a sincere and thoughtful competitor; he was always showing attention to his horses, giving his horse pats on the neck, and could be seen spending his evenings grazing his horses before calling it a day.
The connection he shares with these graceful creatures was something truly special, and it reflects his genuine love and respect for the animal kingdom. Beyond the equestrian arena, Craig’s caring nature extends to everyone he encounters. He has a warm and welcoming presence that draws people in and makes them feel valued. His kindness and compassion leave a lasting impression on those lucky enough to know him.
Tribute to Craig Starr
“I am extremely saddened to hear of the sudden passing of my friend Craig Starr. As many of you know I recently left Diasti Stables LLC after my retired jumper was injured in turnout.” Ali Barros wrote. “However, while I was at Diasti I shared a lovely nine-stall barn with Craig and his horses. During the few months at Diasti, I learned to know Craig as an incredible horseman and rider. His hard work and dedication was unmatched. Although this news is heartbreaking his legacy as a talented rider and beloved horseman will live on. I pray for his family and friends during this difficult time.” Ali Barros added.
Whitney Mulqueen also wrote “I didn’t know Craig Starr very long – he was one of my equestrian clients that I insured for health coverage. Craig was always kind to me when I was at Diasti Stables and we even talked about collaborating where I would teach beginners, clients adults, and children on my lesson horses and be a feeder program for his program. Long story short – Bad management at Diasti Stables got in the way of that plan. I was very impressed with Craig as a Horseman, Professionalism, and the care that he took his horses. RIP Craig.”
Craig Starr’s obituary and funeral arrangements will be released by the family at a later date.
