Coral Academy Cadence Shooting Today — According to a note delivered to families, the Coral Academy Cadence building in Henderson was fired many times on Monday night, April 24th, 2023. While all students and employees were outside the building, the campus, according to school administration, was shot several times in a random location during the course of the night, breaking three windows. According to the message, authorities are looking into the incident and don’t think anyone was the intended target.
On Tuesday, students are expected to attend class as usual. The campus will be under “armed safety personnel” and Henderson Police’s watch and it will be in a “soft lockdown” for the duration of the day. Tuesday’s in-person meetings have been postponed, and guests are not permitted inside the structure.

Dear Cadence Families,
We regret to inform you of an event that occurred last night while all students and staff members were out of the building. The campus was shot multiple times in random places. Three windows were damaged. Authorities were contacted, and an investigation has already begun. Authorities informed us that the shooting at the building was not directed toward any person; therefore, students may return to school today.Armed safety personnel is present on campus for additional security. The Henderson Police Department will also monitor our school, and the campus will remain in soft lockdown today. Any in-person meetings scheduled for today are canceled, and visitors will not be allowed to enter the building. Our student and staff safety is our top priority.
