Colton Morrison passed away in a deadly accident Saturday, June 17, 2023. The little boy who lived with his beloved parents and amazing siblings was loved and cherished by everyone in the community. Colton Morrison was identified as a bright boy with a very bright smile. He had so much energy like any toddler his age, a person wrote.
The family did not immediately release further details following the incident that left their little angel dead. A family friend has created a GoFundMe Account to help raise funds for his funeral. “I am reaching out to our small tight-knit community asking for your help to raise funds to support Kaitlyn and Mark Morrison who have just suffered the most traumatic loss possible for any parent. Our beautiful, spunky, funny little friend Colton Morrison was killed in a tragic accident yesterday.”
Colton’s parents live in Port Perry, Ontario, and would appreciate any little contribution at this time. “It is every parent’s worst nightmare and I am hoping we can all pull together to at least ease the financial burden of their unimaginable tragedy. After an accident that occurred on Saturday involving an off-highway vehicle (OHV) and a pickup truck at the intersection of Range Road 252 and Township Road 310 close to Linden, two children were sent to a hospital in Calgary in a state that was considered to be life-threatening. Just before 4 o’clock in the afternoon, emergency workers were dispatched to the scene, where they provided medical attention to a child aged three and a boy aged ten, who were the occupants of the off-road vehicle.
The driver of the pickup truck was not hurt, according to a statement issued by the RCMP. It appears from the preliminary inquiry that the off-highway vehicle (OHV) drove out of a remote residential driveway and into the road, where it was hit by a passing truck. According to Stars Air Ambulance, two children who were in critical condition were taken by helicopter to the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Edmonton. During the approximately five hours that the RCMP officers spent investigating the crash, they had Range Road 252 closed off.
