Victim pronounced on scene

A citizen who was traveling in a vehicle that was not involved in the collision was found to have died at the site. Because of this, the Special Investigations Unit has exercised its mandate. Colleen Slota, 62, a resident of St. Thomas, has been determined to be the person who passed away.

As a direct consequence of the investigation, three different people have been taken into custody and charged with the crimes listed below: Shawn Tinning, 38 years old and residing in London: Causing death by criminal negligence; failing to halt at the scene of an accident that caused death; possessing property obtained by criminal activity in excess of $5,000; and possessing property obtained by criminal activity in an amount less than $5,000 are all crimes that can result in a prison sentence.

Jason Albert MacDonald, 49, of London, was charged with possession of goods obtained by crime in the amount of more than $5,000 and in the amount of less than $5,000. Both charges were stacked against him. Josey-Ann Alisha Morris, age 40, from London, was charged with possessing property obtained through criminal activity in excess of $5,000 and in possession of goods obtained through criminal activity in excess of $5,000.
