Cody Noel Death – Cody Noel who worked at Nucor Hickman has passed away at the scene of the crash that happened in Brookland, a city in Arkansas. The accident that resulted in the death of Jonathan Cody Noel happened on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, involving a dump truck and an SUV. He was identified by the Arkansas State Police. the family members of Jonathan have gotten the information about the two-vehicle accident and his death.

According to the preliminary report on the tragic accident, Jonathan Cody Noel, 34, of Brookland was driving southbound on Highway 49 when his 2011 Honda Pilot entered the center turning lane and collided head-on with a 2018 International Harvester dump truck that was traveling northbound. Noel was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on Wednesday. Noel was pronounced dead at the hospital. The truck driver reportedly only sustained minor injuries, according to the Brookland police.
The dump truck attempted to escape the collision by swerving out of the way but ended up hitting the front side of Noel’s SUV instead. According to Jonesboro-Craighead County E911, the collision took place close to Honeysuckle Drive at approximately 11:30 a.m.
While crews tried to clear the area, the highway was closed by the police, and traffic in both directions was rerouted to other streets: School Street for northbound traffic and Honeysuckle for southbound traffic. E911 received a report that officers reopened the freeway just before 1:30 p.m., which was approximately two hours after the accident. He was born on September 30th, 1988, he entered the world.
Cody loved spending time with his family. Cody enjoyed grilling for any number of people, be it two or one hundred and two. Cody was a talented musician who frequently performed at open mic nights and other community events. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, going horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and working on wood projects.
Cody was a diligent worker, and his employer, Nucor, appreciated his efforts. Harvest Baptist Church was Cody’s church of choice. Drake Wayne Noel, Darcy Grace Noel, and Ryder James Noel; brothers Josh (Presley) Noel and Zach (Lindsay); stepsiblings Matthew (Lesley) Hobbs and Jennifer Hobbs; and parents Kim and Gerald Varvil are among his surviving family members. Visitation will be held at Phillips Funeral Home on Saturday, April 22, beginning at 4:00 p.m. and continuing until the time of the service. Packy Magel will preside over a memorial service at Phillips Funeral Home tonight at 6 o’clock.
