Multipe enforcement agencies and emergency crews are responding to a mass shooting in Clermont, Ohio on Thursday, June 15th, 2023. The Clermont Police Department says that officers were sent to Laurel Lindle Road in Monroe Township after reports of shots being fired in the area. At the time this report was made, it was stated that three juveniles has been shot and laying in the yard unresponsive. Gunman reported reportedly and allegedly the victims’ father. Air care is requested. People are asked to stay away from the area while authorities look into what happened.

At the Ohio 125 and Ohio 132 intersections in Pierce Township on January 8, 2023, there has been a gunshot. The Clermont County coroner is on the scene. Officials claim that at roughly 11:25 a.m., officers responded to a 911 call and discovered an unconscious subject in the westbound lanes of SR125, just east of the SR132 intersection. The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Batavia resident Brian M. Wilson.
The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office dispatched detectives and the Crime Area Unit to the area for additional investigation and processing. Wilson was shot during the verbal altercation by Michael Patrick Guilfoyle Jr., 33, who was found at the site. Guilfoyle was taken to the Investigative Unit of the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, where he was questioned by detectives.
Officials said that Guilfoyle cooperated with authorities and was open about the confrontation that took place at a tattoo parlor. Wilson and Guilfoyle had a verbal argument about money, according to Guilfoyle, who also admitted to shooting Wilson. Guilfoyle Jr., 33, has been detained and is facing two felonies: one count of first-degree felony aggravated murder and another of first-degree felony aggravated robbery.
He is currently being held without bond at the Clermont County Jail. In response, the Clermont County Coroner’s Office moved Brian Wilson’s body to the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy. On Monday, January 9, at 10:00 a.m., Guilfoyle is due in Clermont County Municipal Court for his arraignment.
